Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is a plant native to South East Asia and is a member of the Ginger family. It is naturally rich in the compound curcumin. The human body finds it difficult to absorb turmeric extract alone. It is the black pepper extract that helps the absorption process of turmeric and allows you to gain the full benefits of curcumin. May reduce inflammation/swelling of joints, help to lower cholesterol and help maintain liver health
